Privacy
This site is run by Turi Cacciatore (Turi Design). This page explains what is collected when you visit, why, where it is processed, and the choices you have.
Nothing that could identify you is tracked until you accept the notice shown at the bottom of the page. If you decline, or simply ignore it, there are no cookies, no personal analytics and no session recording: only an anonymous count of visits, described below.

What is collected
After you accept, this site uses PostHog to understand how it is used: pages viewed, referring source, approximate location (country level), device and browser type, and basic interactions such as clicks, form submissions and outbound link clicks.
PostHog also records a reconstruction of the visit, used to see where the site can be improved. All form fields and any text you type are masked and are not captured in these recordings.
None of this is used to identify you personally, and the data is not sold or shared for advertising.
The contact form
If you use the contact form, the details you enter (name, email, and optionally company, role and message) are sent to me so I can reply.
The form goes from this site straight to my mailbox. Both are hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland, and no other service handles your message on the way. Nothing is stored on the web server: the only copy is the email in my inbox, kept as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up.
Cookies and consent
Analytics and session recording start only after you select Accept. That choice is remembered in your browser so the notice is not shown again.
Once accepted, PostHog stores a small amount of data in your browser (cookies and local storage) so visits can be measured consistently. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page: choosing Decline stops tracking and removes what PostHog stored in your browser.
Whatever you choose, an anonymous and aggregate count is kept of the pages viewed and of how often this notice is shown, accepted or declined, together with approximate location (country and city), the referring source and the browser type. It uses no cookies and no lasting identifier (only a random number kept in the open tab and erased when the tab is closed), cannot identify you and is never tied to a personal profile. If you prefer not to be counted at all, opt out here: this browser will then send nothing, not even anonymously.
Where the data goes
Analytics and session recordings are processed by PostHog on its European (EU) cloud, so this data stays within the EU.
Contact form messages, like any email you send me, are handled by Infomaniak in Switzerland, which hosts this site and my mailbox. Switzerland is recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection. Each of these providers acts as a processor on my behalf and only for the purposes described above.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, or withdraw consent at any time.
Analytics is based on your consent. Messages you send me are handled on the basis of my legitimate interest in replying to you, or of the steps you ask me to take before a contract. Analytics data is kept for the standard retention period of the PostHog service I use.
To exercise any of these, or for any privacy question, write to info@turidesign.com and I will take care of it myself. It costs you nothing, and you have my answer within one month of your request. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at cnil.fr.
